terms of service

welcome to appsonbid (www.appsonbid.com). by accessing or using our website, services, seller dashboard, or submission forms, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. if you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using the platform immediately.

appsonbid operates exclusively as an unbranded software discovery and matchmaking platform connecting software builders ("sellers") with prospective buyers ("buyers").

• not an escrow agent: appsonbid is not an escrow service, broker, investment adviser, legal representative, or fiduciary agent.
• 0% deal commission: appsonbid does not broker transactions or charge any closing commission on the sale of applications. all asset transfers (source code repositories, domain names, customer databases, cloud infrastructure) and acquisition payments occur strictly between buyer and seller directly or via independent third-party escrow services (such as escrow.com).
• no custody of funds or assets: appsonbid never takes custody of acquisition purchase funds, equity, or proprietary software codebases.

listing applications on appsonbid and submitting purchase bids as a buyer are 100% free. paid services on the platform are limited to:

• seller contact unlocks: sellers may optionally pay an unlock fee ($39 for a single application or $59 for an all-apps bundle) to access verified buyer contact details (email and phone number) for a 90-day active window. all payment processing is handled by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments.
• unlock refund policy: because contact unlock services grant immediate, irreversible access to proprietary digital contact records upon completion of payment, unlock fees are strictly non-refundable once the contact data has been revealed in the dashboard.
• sponsor advertising slots: banner sponsorship placements are billed on a fixed daily, weekly, or monthly duration basis. sponsors are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and trademarks of the content, links, and banners they submit.

appsonbid provides automated read-only integration tools (supporting Stripe, Dodo Payments, Polar, and Google Analytics 4) to verify revenue and traffic statistics on an "as-reported" basis directly from provider APIs.

• as-is telemetry: while automated metrics reflect live third-party API data, appsonbid does not guarantee the ongoing accuracy, uptime, or future financial sustainability of any listed software business.
• independent buyer diligence: buyers bear the sole and absolute responsibility to conduct their own independent technical code review, financial audit, IP assignment verification, and legal due diligence before entering into any binding purchase agreement or transferring funds.

when listing an application on appsonbid, sellers represent and warrant that:

• they are the lawful owner or authorized representative of the software codebase, domains, and associated intellectual property.
• the application does not contain malicious code, spyware, unauthorized copyrighted assets, or open-source license violations.
• all self-reported and verified financial metrics represent authentic business activity.
• sellers agree to abide by our founder anti-leak standards and will not attempt to publish disguised contact information on public anonymous teasers.

the appsonbid platform and all associated services are provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. appsonbid expressly disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and title. we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall appsonbid, its founders, operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, business interruption, or acquisition disputes arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

in all circumstances, the total aggregate liability of appsonbid for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the greater of $100 usd or the total amount paid by you to appsonbid for services in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and appsonbid arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved through good-faith informal negotiation. transactions and disputes occurring directly between buyers and sellers regarding software acquisitions are independent commercial matters to be resolved between those parties.
