at appsonbid (www.appsonbid.com), we prioritize founder confidentiality, intellectual property protection, and transparent software discovery. we collect only the necessary information to operate an anonymous software acquisition marketplace where builders and verified buyers connect directly.

we collect information in the following contexts:

• account information: when you sign in with google, we receive your email address, display name, and avatar image URL to authenticate your session and manage your dashboard.
• listing data: when you submit an application, we collect your product name, live app URL, SaaS category, monetization model, MRR/ARR financials, traffic/user metrics, technology stack, and pitch description.
• private seller details: we collect the seller's full name, contact phone number (with country code), and optional social links. this information is stored privately and is NEVER displayed on the public marketplace.
• bidding information: when a buyer submits a free verified bid, we record their offer amount, google-authenticated contact email, optional secondary email, and contact phone number.
• anonymous telemetry: we aggregate live visitor count heartbeats and page view metrics to provide platform-wide transparency without tracking individual personal browsing history.

optional seller contact unlock purchases ($39 single app / $59 all-app bundle for 90 days) are processed directly by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments. Listing apps and placing bids are 100% free with no payment required.

appsonbid does not store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers, CVVs, or banking credentials. All checkout transactions are encrypted via industry-standard TLS protocols.

clarification on app sales: appsonbid is NOT an escrow service and does NOT process or hold financial transactions for the purchase of applications. Founders and buyers coordinate payments and code handover directly through independent third-party escrow services (e.g. escrow.com) or bilateral legal contracts. appsonbid charges 0% broker commission on the final deal.

we do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information to third parties. data exposure is strictly partitioned to maintain anonymity:

• public marketplace teasers: marketplace listings display ONLY generalized, unbranded headlines generated by AI, category, verified revenue multiples, user traction, tech stack, and summary descriptions. exact brand names, live URLs, seller identities, phone numbers, and social links are STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL and never shown on the public marketplace.
• private seller dashboard: when a buyer submits a verified bid, their contact email and phone number are made accessible exclusively to the authenticated seller of that specific app upon unlocking.

to protect buyer and founder anonymity and prevent unauthorized contact evasion, listing descriptions and summaries are automatically scanned using heuristic security rules and Google Gemini AI. this automated scan checks exclusively for contact leaks, disguised URLs, and platform bypass attempts. your data is never used to train third-party public AI models.

6. data retention

seller listings remain active on the marketplace indefinitely until the founder marks them as acquired or chooses to de-list them. sellers retain private access to their historical bid records, click metrics, and valuation data in their seller dashboard.

7. your rights & data deletion

you have the right to review, update, or request the complete deletion of your account, listings, and associated bidding records at any time. to request data removal, please contact our team.
